In August of 1979, a group of “like-minded” local physicians shared the vision of providing care to the community in which they lived by opening a clinic on Broadway Street in downtown Pocahontas.  One year later (1980), Pocahontas Medical Clinic relocated to the current facility located at 2901 Medical Center Drive (beside Five Rivers Medical Center).

Through the years, the clinic has grown and remained in the forefront of technology by utilizing Electronic Medical Records and the latest diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests to aid in the Quality of Care provided to the community.   With the addition of a “Sick-Call” Clinic in 2012 on Market Drive (by Wal-Mart), the community now has another option for Quality Healthcare in a convenient location.
