Ashley Karr, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

Ashley Karr is a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. As such, it is within her scope of practice to prescribe medications for managing various mental health conditions across the lifespan. She will do so based on extensive assessment and clinical judgement, guided by current research and evidence-based practice guidelines.  Mental Health conditions that can be treated include but are not limited to anxiety, depressive, mood (bipolar), psychotic, ADHD, trauma, personality disorders.

Education and Experience:

Ashley has nearly 14 years of Nursing Experience. She began her Nursing career in 2007 as an LPN.  Obtained both her Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) from BRTC and Bachelors of Science (BSN) in Nursing in 2010 from Arkansas State University. Received her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University in February 2018 and most recently her Post-Masters Certification in Mental Health from UAMS in December 2019.
